PLEASE NOTE:  Hat Straw is now sold in 2 mtr lengths; is  approx 4.5mm wide. The photos show the straw larger than it is and the shades of the hat straw may vary on your monitor.

Hat straw is a man made product;   Hat straw is woven on two cotton threads; tease the ends of the straw to reveal one thread, pull on this to make a curl to start your hats off.

Just a footnote:  Hazel Dowd can not guarantee any colour fastness in the Hat Straw.

Hat Straw can also fade in bright sun light and colours may run into fabric if wet.

Care should be taken at all times when working with Hat Straw as any damage to your projects Hazel Dowd can not be  held responsible.

The straw can be used for Mats; Baby baskets; Linen Baskets; Sewing Baskets; Shopping Bags; Picnic Baskets and Handbags etc.
